AECOM Technology Corp. [ACM] on Friday said it has completed its $355 million acquisition of McNeil Technologies, expanding its presence in the national security arena serving the federal government.
“McNeil Technologies expands AECOM’s U.S. government business and advances our ability to participate in fast growing markets,” John Dionisio, AECOM’s president and CEO, said in a statement. “McNeil brings a unique expertise to AECOM in intelligence, information technology and cybersecurity, and diversifies our strong base of federal government relationships. We now have a significant presence in the high growth national security market.”
McNeil, which had been owned by the private equity firm Veritas Capital, had $245 million in sales for 2009. The company’s 1,500 employees provide services to the Defense and Homeland Security Departments, the intelligence community, and other federal and municipal agencies.
