The biotechnology company Advaxis, Inc. [ADXS] and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate have entered into a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) to allow a pilot proof-of-concept cattle safety study to be conducted late this summer with the company’s Listeria vaccine that is used to fight cancer. The testing will include oral and injection dosing. “This research agreement adds another scientifically respected organization to the existing cooperative research agreements with the National Cancer Institute and Cancer Research U.K.,” says Thomas Moore, chairman and CEO of Advaxis.
