Universal Detection Technology [UDTT] received a purchase order from Security Solutions International (SSI) for the company’s plague detection kits. SSI will showcase the kits at seminars and conferences where it will be providing counter-terrorism training and education to law enforcement, Army, and emergency responder personnel. Separately, UDT says it provided training in bio-terrorism detection at the recent Homeland Security Science & Technology Stakeholders Conference. Conference attendees were trained in the use of lateral flow assay tests that simulate a real world testing scenario to familiarize first responders with results they may encounter in the field.
