The U.S. Navy awarded four separate indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) firm-fixed multiple-award five year contracts for procurement of information communication technology/equipment (ICT/E), the Defense Department said Thursday.

The awardees are Cypher Analytics, doing business as Crown Point Systems, for $47.5 million; Cyber Core Technologies LLC for $47.5 million; ALOM Technologies Corp. for $14 million; and World Wide Technologies for $14 million. The contracts include no options.

ICT/E covers a range of procurements identified by risk. The high-risk category includes firewalls, intrusion detection systems and sensors, routers, semiconductor chips, and switches. Medium risk includes encryptors, hard disk drives, multiplexers and transceivers, servers, solid state drives, workstations, and other computing devices. The low-risk category includes racks, cabinets, storage area networks, thin clients, power strips, and other electrical protection and distribution devices.

Two of the awardees are eligible to compete for delivery orders for medium and low-risk categories during the ordering period, the Defense Department said. Cypher Analytics and Cyber Core Technologies are eligible to supply the equipment in all risk categories while ALOM Technologies Corp. and World Wide Technologies are able to supply the ICT/E in the low and medium-risk categories.

Contract work is expected to be completed by Feb. 27, 2022. Work will be done at the respective contractor facilities in San Diego, Calif. (Cypher Analytics); Elkridge, Md. (Cyber Core Technologies); Fremont, Calif. (ALOM Technologies Corp.); and Maryland Heights, Mo. (World Wide Technologies).

Funding will be obligated by delivery orders which will be competed. Funding types that will be obligated include Navy operations and maintenance (O&M); Navy other procurement; and research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E).

The Defense Department highlighted these contracts were competitively procured  using full and open competition via publication on the FebBizOpps and Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command e-Commerce Central websites. Six proposals were received, with these four selected for award.

The contracting activity is the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific at San Diego, Calif.
