ManTech International [MANT] yesterday said it has completed its purchase of the cyber security firm HBGary, Inc., expanding its base of commercial customers and adding to its cyber security technology.
Terms of the deal, which was first announced in February, were not disclosed.
“The combination of ManTech and HBGary will create a broader cyber security solution capability for both our commercial and government customers,” William Varner, president and Chief Operating Officer of ManTech’s Mission, Cyber, and Intelligence Solutions Group, said in a statement.
HBGary’s sales are not public but about 75 percent of the company’s business is with commercial customers, including the financial services, energy and health sectors. The rest of the business is with government customers.
HBGary’s software products detect, analyze and diagnose advanced persistent threats and targeted malware.
