OSI Systems‘ [OSIS] Rapiscan division has received a $2.2 million competitive contract from the Delhi Metro Rail Corp. to supply multiple 620XR checkpoint X-Ray baggage inspection systems and Metor walk-through metal detectors to be deployed in underground metro corridor and surface rail corridor stations throughout Delhi. Delhi Metro is the mass transit system set up by the Government of India and the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The purchase is part of a multi- phase effort by Delhi Metro to upgrade its security screening processes as its transit network expands, Rapiscan says.
