The Army is accepting proposals to participate in its next Cyber Quest event in 2019 where industry participants will have an opportunity to present cyber and electronic warfare technologies in live and virtual demonstrations with soldiers.

Officials at the Army’s Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) in Ft. Gordon in Georgia said Cyber Quest ‘19 will focus on cyber-electromagnetic tools for multi-domain operations to inform current capability gaps and rapid acquisition priorities.

Industry responses are due by the end of August, then selected organization will have the chance to brief and demonstrate their capabilities to CCoE officials the week of Sept. 17.

Participants will be notified in October if they have been selected to participate in Cyber Quest ‘19.

“The event will present an operational scenario with opportunities to highlight innovative capabilities within a live, virtual, or constructive multi-echelon experimentation environment,” Army officials wrote in the solicitation notice.

Officials are looking to understand where capability gaps may exist in utilizing cyber and electromagnetic tools to enhance mission command objectives, specifically in displaying cyber data from multiple sources into actionable information and integrating NETOPS capabilities into a comprehensive view.

The solicitation notice also points to a need for capabilities that can improve planning and executing of electronic warfare coordination efforts.

CCoE officials also cite a need for electronic attack capabilities, offensive cyber operations tools, and the ability to improve identifying and intercepting all activity on the electromagnetic spectrum.
