United Launch Alliance (ULA) is set for Tuesday’s launch of NROL-67 for the National Reconnaissance Office

(NRO), according to a company statement.

The launch is planned to take place at 2:48 p.m. EDT from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla., aboard one of ULA’s Atlas V rockets, which uses the Russian-made RD-180 first stage rocket engine manufactured by NPO Energomash and distributed in the United States by RD AMROSS, a joint venture of NPO Energomash and United Technologies Corp. [UTX]

Tuesday’s weather forecast shows a 40 percent chance of favorable weather conditions for launch.

ULA is a joint venture of Lockheed Martin [LMT] and Boeing [BA].
