Acro, Inc. [ACRI] says it has received an order from a U.S. federal agency for its ACRO-P.E.T. peroxide explosive testers, marking the second order for the devices from a U.S. agency. Last August Acro received an order for 300 of the pen-like testers from the Army. Regarding the new order, Gadi Aner, chairman and CEO of Acro says, “Although it is not a significant order financially and quantitatively, it demonstrates the trust and confidence of the U.S. government in ACRO-P.E.T., which is a critical tool in the never ending battle against terror.” Acro declined to name the new agency and the amount of testers being provided.
