The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Transportation Threat Assessment and Credentialing (TTAC) Technology group has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for a possible future Operations and Computing Environment solicitation. The agency is interested in gauging industry’s understanding and capability to perform operations, maintenance and information technology (IT) management of Department of Homeland Security mission critical ITS systems. TSA initially awarded a potential $148.5 million contract in March 2006 to a small business although the total contract period of performance was shortened due to requirements cost exceeding the estimated dollar value over a five-year period. TSA expects continued growth in the use of the Operations and Computing Environment contract in the future and increases in both breadth and scale are expected as TTAC operations continue to expand. Sol. No. TTAC_OCE_RFI. Respond by Dec. 13. Contact: Victor Martinez, contract specialist, 571-227-2218, [email protected].
