France’s Thales Group and U.S.-based Verint Systems [VRNT] on Monday said they have formed a strategic partnership to provide comprehensive cyber threat intelligence services.

The partnership aims to provide services across a spectrum of threats, espionage, information warfare, and cybercrime, the companies said.

“Verint’s cyber security and threat intelligence offerings complement ours, bringing an additional approach to the global threat appreciation,” Laurent Maury, vice president of Cybersecurity and Critical Information Systems at Thales, said in a statement.  “By combining Verint’s vast experience and advanced cyber threat intelligence capabilities with ours, we can provide customers with a comprehensive and global strategy to keep both the public and private sectors safer from the ever increasing level of cyber threats.”

The companies said they have created a joint intelligence report that provide insights into cyber threats in Europe.
