Senate Approves DHS Spending Bill

The Senate yesterday approved by a 79 to 19 vote the $42.8 billion FY '10 Homeland Security Appropriations Bill, which will now go to President Obama for his signature. Last week the House approved the bill (Defense Daily, Oct. 16). The bill provides strong support for aviation security, border security and Coast Guard modernization programs.
