FAIRFAX, Va., Dec. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Magnovo Training Group recently partnered with the Blue Star Mothers of Northern Virginia to provide care packages to military members currently stationed overseas.

As a part of a Mission: Military Care charity teambuilding workshop and with the help of corporate donations, the Blue Star Mother of Northern Virginia were able to assemble several packages, including some that were sent to two special operations troops and to sailors on the USS Reagan.

As the holidays approach, charity teambuilding workshops coordinated by Magnovo Training Group become even more pertinent. “The goal is to create care packages for military service men and women who’re stationed far from home; and during the holiday season, this is even more important,” said Rob Jackson, Magnovo President.

The group used the opportunity to gather, bake cookies, wrap gifts and assemble the care packages together. Not only was it a night of fellowship, but also a night to give back.

The Northern Virginia Chapter of The Blue Star Mothers of Northern America, Inc. is a non-partisan, non-political, non-sectarian organization. It is comprised of mothers, stepmothers, grandmothers, foster mothers and female legal guardians who have children serving in the military, guard or reserves, or children who are veterans. Their mission is to support each other and their children while promoting patriotism.

Magnovo partners with businesses and organizations of all sizes to provide various teambuilding workshops to their associates. The charity team building events not only develop a stronger and more cohesive team, but each one has a philanthropic twist — giving back through local charities and community organizations. These workshops were created with the goal of inspiring significant, positive change within organizations and communities.
