NEW YORK, April 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Television host, actor, and best-selling author Mario Lopez is supporting veterans by hosting the Wounded Warrior Project^® (WWP) Courage Awards & Benefit Dinner^®. The May 16 event at Gotham Hall in New York City recognizes warriors and highlights the most dedicated supporters who make WWP’s mission to honor and empower wounded warriors possible.

The 13th annual dinner will feature the Courage Award, which honors a warrior who’s exemplified the core values of WWP. The Empowerment Award recognizes a company’s effort to support WWP injured veterans and their families, while the Service Award honors community supporters who have gone above and beyond in their efforts to serve warriors.
