The Energy Department’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential vendors who have commercial off-the-shelf instrumentation capable of multiplexed biological detection from environmental samples. General requirements include a platform that is capable of detecting at least 40 distinct nucleic acid signatures for pathogen detection.
