Lockheed Martin [LMT] won a potential four-year, $24 million task order to provide information technology (IT) services to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Office for Terrorism Preparedness and Emergency Response (COTPER) in Atlanta. Lockheed Martin will provide systems architecture, Web design, and application development and support, management and security to elements of COTPER. The task order was made under an existing Blanket Purchase Agreement through a General Services Administration schedule. Lockheed Martin already supports COTPER through work won in Jan. 2007 to provide business consulting and the performance of technical, professional, logistical, engineering and administrative tasks. COTPER provides strategic direction to CDC for all terrorism preparedness and emergency response activities.
