KEYW Corp. [KEYW] yesterday its new subsidiary Hexis Cyber Solutions has launched a new cyber security product that automatically detects and removes threats from a network.

The HawkEye G solution draws on KEYW’s experience supporting the federal government and big data capabilities, the company said. It says HawkEye G will detect, diagnose and remove cyber threats before they can compromise intellectual property or disrupt business.
The company said the new security platform can detect potential threats in seconds and minutes and the after confirming the presence of malware, eliminates a threat in near-real time.
KEYW also said that HawkEye G has a continuous capability delivery service that allows it to evolve as the threats evolve.
“HawkEye G was purpose-built to find and remove that threat before it compromises the network,” Chris Frede, president of Hexis, said in a statement. “In addition, the analytics that are applied to the spectrum of network behavior means that high quality awareness is constantly available to the network operator.”
