WAM has 25 employees and with the acquisition KDA now has 200 employees.

WAM has a

Lockheed Martin [LMT] license to manufacture parts for the P-3 maritime surveillance aircraft and C-130 tactical transport aircraft, new platforms for KDA. WAM also manufactures parts for Lockheed Martin’s C-5 transport and F-16 fighter and other manufacturer’s defense platforms.

WAM also has manufacturing capabilities for thermoplastic molding and complex machining that are new to KDA.

“The addition of Williams Aerospace and manufacturing to our group of companies adds a significant breadth of capability that supports our strategic growth plans and the needs of our global customer base,” Chris Celtruda, KDA’s CEO, said in a statement. “We expect to rapidly integrate the Williams Aerospace and Manufacturing business, while investing in product development to expand our solution set for military aircraft sustainment.”

WAM’s products will retain their brand identity in the market.

KDA’s financial adviser on the deal was Houlihan Lokey and WAM was advised by La Vorgne CPA CGMA.
