InterSense, BVR Team to Develop First Responder Locator System

InterSense, Inc. and Israel's BVR Systems Ltd. [BVRSF] have teamed to develop the First Responders Independent Navigation Device (FIND) that is designed to provide precise locating, tracking and monitoring of teach team member's position within an emergency area without relying on GPS coverage. InterSense, which is based in Massachusetts, will lead the development of the core sensing component based on the company's NavShoe technology, a boot-mounted inertial sensor that provides accurate position data.
