Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal Protective Service (FPS), seeks two Non-Intrusive Inspection Systems, including one relocatable cargo screening system on rails and one mobile vehicle system for low-density cargo. Additionally, the agency seeks training and maintenance of the systems for a base year period and four one-year options. The systems are to enable the FPS to perform NII of conveyances, including trailer trucks, pallets, trailer-mounted cargo containers and other vehicles for contraband such as drugs, weapons and firearms. The systems may also be used to inspect smaller vehicles such as cars, pickup trucks and buses. The systems shall also be capable of detecting weapons of mass destruction and weapons of mass effect.
