The Army yesterday announced General Dynamics [GD] C4 Systems Inc., Taunton, Mass., was awarded March 24 a $164 million firm-fixed-price contract for Warfighter Information Network (WIN) Tactical Increment 2 (T INC 2).
This low-rate production, urgent first order, is to procure equipment for three brigade combat teams, one division headquarters, four regional hub nodes, and one base equipment complement to support the initial operational test and evaluation for WIN-T INC2 for program manager, WIN-T.
The work will be done in Taunton, Mass., with an estimated completion date of June 30.
General Dynamics was the sole bidder. CECOM Acquisition Center, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (W15PT-10-D-C007).
