The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is reviewing how it goes about responding to cyber security incidents across the federal civilian government even if an agency doesn’t request help, a department official said on Oct. 3.In 2016, a computer system used by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to receive corporate financial disclosures was breached.
