The General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded Commercial Data Systems a two-year contract to provide identity management (IdM) software and hardware and product support services as part of the GSA Access Management System (GAMS). GAMS is being designed and developed to provide authentication, authorization, confidentiality, IdM, role- based access control, non-repudiation, segregation of duties and other enterprise security services for the entire GSA user population of 15,000 to 20,000. CDS is teamed with Oracle [ORCL] on the contract to aid the systems integrators. GAMS is being driven by HSPD-12 and Federal Identity, Compliance and Access Management requirements. The system is expected to be in production before the end of FY ’10.
