The Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO), Systems Engineering and Evaluation Directorate, has issued a Request for Information on current systems designed for radiation measurement deployed onboard aircraft in support of the Gryphon test campaign. The purpose of these systems is the detection of radiological material including industrial, medical and Special Nuclear Material from an airborne platform. The Gryphon test is especially interested in detecting and locating point-like sources in a complex and dynamic background. These systems would be used in all environments including but not limited to the urban canyon, maritime, and coastal environments such as marinas, and quickly varying terrains. Sol.
