Cubic [CUB] has received a $49 million dollar contract from the Marine Corps to provide an advanced Instrumented Tactical Engagement Simulation System (I-TESS II).
Under the indefinite delivery contract, Cubic will supply a turn-key deployable training capability that includes an environment designed to replicate the stress and threats of actual combat. I-TESS II will be used by Marine force-on-force and force-on-target training exercises.
Those exercises include indoor training as well as outdoor urban environment scenarios. I-TESS II is a fully integrated ground combat training system based on Cubic’s laser based wireless instrumentation products.
The systems includes small arms laser transmitters, rocket propelled grenades and AT-4 anti-armor simulators.
