U.S. Marine Management Inc., Norfolk, Virginia, is being awarded a $17,650,840 firm-fixed-price contract with reimbursable elements (N3220523C4223) for time charter of one U.S. Flag, double hull tanker Yosemite Trader with an Inert Gas System and Segregated Ballast Tanks that is capable of carrying a minimum of 300,000 barrels of clean petroleum products (intention JP8, JAA, or F76) within the vessel’s natural segregation in designated cargo tanks with double valve isolation. This contract includes a 12-month base period with two 12-month option periods, which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $52,558,626. Work will be performed in Hawaii and worldwide, and is expected to be completed if all options are exercised by April 2026.
