Raytheon Missiles and Defense, Tucson, Arizona, is awarded a $24,867,844 cost-plus-fixed-fee order (N0001923F0463) against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N0001920G0007). This order provides for engineering design and analysis in support of updating the Digital Scene Matching Area Correlator (DSMAC) subsystem navigation capability. The current DSMAC subsystem design is obsolete due to the end of manufacturing life for multiple components and without this redesign effort, production of the Tomahawk cruise missile will not be possible. Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona, and is expected to be completed in July 2024. Fiscal 2023 weapons procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $24,867,844 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the fiscal year. Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
