Palantir USG Inc., Palo Alto, California, has been awarded a $32,500,000 firm-fixed-price contract that provides data-as-a-service platform for two separate mission areas. The first is the Project Brown Heron effort that has the Palantir Gotham platform configured to automatically ingest data from across the Department of the Air Force (DAF) that continually push personnel, equipment, planning, health, and other readiness data sources into their common data foundation. This readiness information is a critical component to DAF-wide COVID-19 analysis and decision making. The second is to provide mission-critical space situational awareness and command and control capabilities to operational users at the National Space Defense Center and the Combined Space Operations Center. Work will be performed in Palo Alto, California, and is expected to be completed Nov. 30, 2021. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Fiscal 2021 operation and maintenance funds in the amount of $12,857,144; and fiscal 2021 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $4,000,000 are being obligated at the time of award.
