MilliporeSigma Corp., Burlington, Massachusetts; and Sheboygan, Wisconsin, has been awarded a $136,695,430 definitive contract to establish domestic production capacity of lateral flow membranes for COVID-19 testing and future rapid diagnostic needs. This contract provides for the increased production capacity of lateral flow membranes to support more than 83.3 million monthly (one billion annually) rapid diagnostic tests. Work will be performed in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2025. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition and one offer was received. Fiscal 2022 America Rescue Plan Act funds in the amount of $136,695,430 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins, Georgia, is the contracting activity (FA8528-22-C-0001).
