L3Harris Technologies Inc., Colorado Springs, Colorado, has been awarded a $54,681,433 contract modification (P00225) to a previously awarded contract (FA8823-20-C-0004) for the Ground Bass Optical Sensor System modification for the Ground Based Electro-Optical Space Surveillance System. The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $740,237,085. Work will be performed at Colorado Springs, Colorado; White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico; Yoder, Colorado; and Maui, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 27, 2028.
