General Electric Co., Cincinnati, Ohio, has been issued an undefinitized contract action with a ceiling of $203,000,000 for technology maturation and risk reduction services, and a $99,470,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for research and development. The contract includes maturation of fuel efficient adaptive engine component technologies and reduce associated risk in preparation for next-generation propulsion system development for combat aircraft applications. Work will be performed in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is expected to be completed Dec. 31, 2024. Fiscal 2022 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $99,470 is being obligated at the time of award.
