General Atomics – Aeronautical Systems Inc., Poway, California, is awarded a $7,784,929 modification (P00009) to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N0001920C0031). This modification provides three SkyTower I pods, three air vehicle installation kits, three ground control system installation kits, one lot of product support material/ancillary items, and two unmanned aircraft system modifications for the MQ-9A Reaper System for the Navy. Work will be performed in Poway, California (43.5%); Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii (35.5%); and Grey Butte, California (21%), and is expected to be completed in December 2023. Fiscal 2022 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $1,750,926; and fiscal 2020 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $6,034,003 will be obligated at the time of award, of which $6,034,003 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
