EUROMIDS, Paris, France, is awarded an estimated 322,200,000€ (U.S. $338,794,284) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide Multifunctional Information Distribution System Low Volume Terminals (MIDS-LVTs), spares, engineering support and logistics to four European nations’ (France, Germany, Italy and Spain) military platforms, and software support to the five MIDS nations’ systems engineering and integration of MIDS-LVTs. MIDS-LVTs provides secure, high-capacity, jam-resistant, digital data and voice communications capability for Navy, Air Force and Army platforms, and the platforms of subject nations. Work will be performed in France (40%); Germany (20%); Italy (20%); and Spain (20%), and is expected to be completed by June 2027. No funds will be placed on contract or obligated at the time of award. Euros will be obligated on individual task orders as they are issued upon award of the contract modification. This sole source contract was not competitively procured in accordance with 10 U.S. Code 3204(a)(4) – International Agreement, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 6.302-4.
