TSA Awards CACI $42M Extension for IT Services

The Transportation Security Administration plans to award CACI International

[CACI] a six-month $41.9 million contract bridge to continue providing information technology services under the IT Management, Performance Analysis, and Collaborative Technologies task order. The extension will allow for continued services while a follow-on acquisition is completed. The current contract ends in September.

Applied Insight Receives $5M from CBP to Support UAS Program

Customs and Border Protection plans to award Applied Insight, LLC a potential one-year $5.5 million contract to continue providing professional engineering and program management support of the agency’s unmanned aircraft system (UAS) program. The contract extension has a six-month base period and six one-month options to allow for the continued services while CBP takes corrective action to evaluate the circumstances that gave rise to a contract protest, and if necessary, re-solicits the work.

TSA Awards DSA Detection $10M for Large Security Screening Bins

DSA Detection LLC has received a $9.5 million contract from the Transportation Security Administration to provide large enhanced security screening bins. The computed tomography-based checkpoint scanners TSA is deploying to screen carry-on items are being used with larger screening bins, enabling travelers to divest more items into one bin.
