Transit Agency Orders Additional Solutions from Qognify
Qognify says one of the world’s largest transit agencies has ordered additional security solutions from the company to complement its deployment last year of the Situator security management platform. The new order includes Qognify’s mobile solutions, allowing the transit agency to extend the situational awareness and management capabilities of Situator to its field responders via their Internet-connected mobile devices. The agency has also selected Search Suspect, Qognify’s real-time video analytics solutions that can locate and retrace the movements of a lost child or suspect in minutes. Once Search Suspect is deployed, the agency will be able to quickly search hundreds or thousands of hours of video to find a person of interest so responders can intervene before a situation escalates. “this large-scale project reinforces Qognify’s ability to provide a comprehensive security and operations package that meets the wide range of demands of today’s world-class transit organizations,” says Moti Shabtai, president of Qognify. The name of the transit agency wasn’t disclosed.
