Brijot Imaging Systems has introduced a mounting accessory to its Gen 2 millimeter wave imaging system that enables rapid deployment in multiple indoor environments. Called MobileScan, the Gen 2 imaging system is mounted on the wheeled chassis, which includes an onboard battery for eight hours of operation and a wireless router. A United Kingdom border agency has successfully tested the system and is taking delivery of multiple production units. MobileScan “facilitates the ability to react to a changing security situation and quickly put millimeter wave screening checkpoints at locations within minutes,” Troy Techau, Brijot’s vice president for Business Development, tells TR2. It’s a no tools required setup, he says. “MobileScan continues our leadership position within the industry at the first product on the market with true full body mobile imaging capability,” he says.
