*American Science and Engineering [ASEI] received a $4.4 million order from the U.S. government for service and maintenance for Z Backscatter Vans.

*Customs and Border Protection and The Netherlands have recognized their respective expedited air travel programs to open membership to citizens of both countries in an effort to streamline entry processes for pre-screened fliers. This means that citizens of each country can now apply to join the other country’s frequent traveler program. The U.S. program, called Global Entry, includes a background check on low-risk travelers and a streamlined entry process in certain U.S. airports using fingerprints. The Netherlands’ program is called Privium and includes a background check and faster border passage using an iris scan. The agreement is the first for the U.S. with a nation outside North America.
