Armor Express says it has been selected by Immigration and Customs Enforcement to equip agents with its ballistic-resistant vests under a five-year, multi-million dollar contract. Armor Express has previously supplied Customs and Border Protection and the Internal Revenue Service with its vests.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency has awarded Concurrent Technologies Corp. a $1.8 million task order to provide maintenance and upgrade services for the integration of the Federal Emergency Response Official Accountability Tracking System with the Deployment Tracking System. The software provides real-time on-scene mobile accountability and tracking in disaster response and recovery operations.
The Transportation Security Administration says it plans to award a contract modification to Desko Gmbh for design, manufacture, delivery and maintenance of Boarding Pass Scanner units. The agency says the contract modification will address the requirements of the Passenger Screening Program in support of checkpoint screening operations.
