AOptix Releases InSight VM Commercially

AOptix Technologies has released its InSight VM standoff iris recognition system for the commercial market. The system operates at a 2-meter standoff distance. AOptix says the system's imaging functionality is identical to the company's original InSight SD systems. "Our InSight VM introduces a new aesthetic to iris recognition," says Phil Tusa, vice president of Biometrics Programs for AOptix.
