State Dept. OKs $2.4 Billion In F-16 Upgrades For Greece

The U.S. State Department has approved the possible sale of $2.4 billion worth of F-16 fighter jet upgrades to Greece.The Hellenic Air Force, which flies a mix of F-16s in the Block 30, Block 50, Block 52+ and Block 52+ Advanced configurations, would convert up to 123 aircraft to the F-16V configuration, the State Department said Oct. 17.
