SAIC said there are three phases to CyberSecurity Edge, each to deal with different parts of the life-cycle. The non-intrusive discover phase is focused on identifying technical security needs, including end devices, physical and personnel security, security processes and documentation. The company said this phase includes more than just penetration testing.

The mitigation phase is aimed at providing software tools to strenghten an organization’s posture through automation and optimization in as fast as three months. The company said it can automate up to 40 percent of an organization’s current information assurance work activities.

The manage phase provides round-the-clock continuous cyber security through the company’s Network Operations/Security Operations Center, or by providing its staff at a customer’s facilities, or through a hybrid model.

SAIC said that along with its strategic partners, it has more than 350 cyber security professionals at hand to help protect its customers’ networks.
