ManTech International [MANT] on Monday said it has acquired information technology (IT) services provider EWA Services, Inc., formerly a subsidiary of Electronic Warfare Associates, Inc., adding to its customer and capability base for the Defense Department.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. ManTech estimates that EWA Services will contribute $20 million in sales next year and have solid operating margins. ManTech expects the deal to be accretive to earnings in 2009.

Northern Virginia-based EWA Services’ largest customers include the Joint Interoperability Test Command at Fort Huachuca, Ariz., which is a field activity of the Defense Information Systems Agency, and the Big Crow Program Office at Kirtland AFB, N.M., supporting electronic warfare programs.

“We are excited about their complementary skill sets and similar dedication to the DoD and Intelligence mission,” George Pedersen, chairman and CEO of ManTech, said in a statement.

EWA services has 170 employees, over 90 percent with security clearances.
