L-1 Identity Solutions [ID] has introduced ID-Suite, a new custom hardware and software solution designed to meet the needs of international border management, law enforcement, and U.S. driver’s license applications. L-1 says ID-Suite is the first consolidated platform for addressing the adjudication problem of quickly determining whether an individual’s travel or identity documents are legitimate. ID-Suite can be used for enrollment, document scanning and verification. Verification can be done with the system’s own database or against third party databases. The company has already sold its first ID-Suite units, 72 of them, to the State of New York.
