CACI International [CAI] this week said it has agreed to acquire SystemWare, Inc., a small firm with capabilities in monitoring and detecting cyber and physical security vulnerabilities.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. SystemWare had $16 million in sales last year and CACI expects the deal to be accretive to earnings during the first year.

California-based SystemWare designs and manufactures radio frequency acquisition and analysis systems that enable users to monitor unwanted emissions and threats. The company’s customers include the Defense Department, intelligence community, federal civilian agencies and U.S. allies. CACI said that SystemWare will complement its intelligence services business.

The deal is expected to close by Feb. 1. Over half of SystemWare’s employees hold secret clearances and above. SystemWare’s management will join CACI.
