The private equity firm Arlington Capital Partners on Wednesday said its portfolio company United Flexible, Inc., has acquired Scotia Technology, a designer and manufacturer of small diameter fixed tubular components for the aerospace and defense industry.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

New Hampshire-based Scotia specializes in tube bending, brazing and welding. The company’s customers include Raytheon [RTN], Northrop Grumman [NOC], United Technologies [UTX], MB Aerospace, Aerojet Rocketdyne [AJRD], Rolls-Royce, Precision Castparts and others.

United Flexible said Scotia will expand its commercial aerospace and defense precision tube product offering of Kreisler Manufacturing, its most recent acquisition, and will advance its strategy of becoming the preeminent designer and manufacturer of high pressure and high temperature gas and fluid conduits into mission critical systems for original equipment manufacturers.

“With the addition of Scotia’s deep customer relationships and sole source position on marquee, next-generation aerospace platforms, United Flexible will further entrench its position as a leading supplier to the aerospace manufacturing community,” John Devine, CEO of Illinois-based United Flexible, said in a statement.

Scotia said partnering with United Flexible gives it additional resources to expand its service offering and to continue growing in the aerospace and defense industry.
