The Army has issued a pre-solicitation notice for a requirement for a Combined Screening Team to assist the Area Support Group-Kuwait (ASG-KU) in the screening of non-U.S. citizens seeking employment or access to any U.S. installation within the ASG-KU area of operations. The CST tasks consist of Biometric Automated Toolset enrollment, Locally Employed Person screening, and counterintelligence screening. Army Issues RFI for Radiological Detection System

The Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense, Joint Project Manager for Radiological & Nuclear Defense is seeking information from industry on its ability to develop and produce a Radiological Detection System. The information will be used to optimize an RDS acquisition strategy. The goal of the program is to provide a standard Defense Department system that will replace and increase the capability of the service’s current RADIAC systems and enable services to conduct joint operations with interoperable equipment and reduce overall life-cycle costs of equipment. CBP Expects to Issue RFP for MVSS Shortly

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) says it expects to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) soon for a Mobile Video Surveillance System (MVSS) that is commercially available. The agency expects to release the RFP between April 26 and May 26. The planned competition is currently a small business set aside. CBP says it plans to use the MVSS systems to detect and track illegal entries and to provide its agents between the port of entry. Labor Department Seeks Cyber Security and Technology Support
