The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) said recently it notified Congress of a possible Foreign Military Sale (FMS) of 20 C-130J-30 aircraft, five KC-130J aerial refueling aircraft and associated parts and support to Saudi Arabia worth an estimated $6.7 billion, according to a DSCA statement.

In addition to the 20 C-130J-30s and five KC-130Js, Saudi Arabia requests 120 Rolls-Royce AE2100D3 engines (100 installed, 20 spares) and 25 Link-16 Multifunctional Information Distribution Systems.

Prime contractors on the deal would be Rolls-Royce, Lockheed Martin [LMT] and General Electric Aviation, a division of General Electric [GE]. Lockheed Martin develops the C-130J-30 and KC-130J.

The deal is contingent on Congress’ approval.
