“This acquisition, along with our acquisition of KCG last year, expands our presence with customers who are critical to our nation’s future cyber operations and cyber defense,” William Varner, head of ManTech’s Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions Group, said in a statement. “Additionally, Oceans Edge Cyber increases our advanced cyber offerings and the cadre of experienced cyber professionals providing full-spectrum cyber security services and solutions wherever the mission dictates.”

Last June, ManTech acquired Knowledge Consulting Group, which provides cyber security services to the Departments of Homeland Security and Justice, and private sector entities. The company has a task order under the DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation program.

Oceans Edge is based in Northern Virginia and is focused on wireless cyber solutions, mobile application development, and wireless network implementation.

ManTech said it funded the acquisition with cash on hand.
