Jordan Requests $80 Million In 35 Meter Coastal Patrol Boats

The State Department approved a possible $80 million Foreign Military Sales (FMS) request to Jordan for two 35-meter Coastal Patrol Boats and associated equipment, parts, training and logistical support.The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) notified Congress of the potential sale on March 16.The prime contractor would be determined during negotiations.The requested FMS would include two 35-meter Coastal Patrol Boats with two MSI Defence Systems LTD SEAHAWK A2 DS30M-30mm Gun Weapon Systems with MK44 Bushmaster Cannons, 1,140 rounds of 30mm Target-Practice-Tracer…
