New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, Socorro, New Mexico, has been awarded a $46,687,582 cost-reimbursement, cost-share partnership intermediary agreement to support technology transfer between small businesses and institutions of higher learning. The agreement provides for programs, projects and activities designed to catalyze the tech transfer and science, technology, engineering and math outreach objectives of Air Force Research Laboratory. Work will be performed in Albuquerque, New Mexico; Socorro, New Mexico; San Antonio, Texas; and El Paso, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2027. Fiscal 2022 research and development funds in the amount of $288,540 are being obligated at time of award. Air Force Research Laboratory, Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, New Mexico, is the contracting activity (FA9453-22-3-0002).
